FIRST VISIT
First appointment before pedicure
We did Advanced Elim Pedicure. We added one full and a half band on his left toenail and one full band on the right one.
The pedicure, quantity and type of band required will depend on the condition of your toenails.
ONE MONTH LATER
This was the second appointment. The half band came off quicker.
We manually cleaned the accumulated side skin during his Advanced Elim Pedicure and had to reapply all the bands due to the client’s specific condition.
Home care is key to prevent lifting and improve the toenail and cuticle conditions.
The technician asked the client to come in every month at first, then gradually switched to every three months.
10 MONTHS AFTER
This was eight appointments later. During his Advanced Elim Pedicure, we manually cleaned the accumulated side skin and reapplied one full and a half band on his left toenail since it had been 3 months since the last application.
It wasn’t necessary to apply the full band on the right toenail because it was already in correct alignment.
16 MONTHS LATER
This was ten appointments later. During his Advanced Elim Pedicure, we manually cleaned the accumulated side skin and reapplied one full band.
The half band was no longer needed because we had already corrected the curvature.
FIRST VISIT VS. NOW
We corrected the client’s ingrown and involuted nails using a customized band of methacrylate resin. Over the course of 10 appointments in 1.4 years, the band gradually lifted the curved nails and corrected their shape through natural nail growth, all without causing pain or requiring surgery.

Crucial to use cuticle oil daily: Applying cuticle oil can increase circulation around the nails, stimulate growth, and protect the nails and cuticles against trauma.
Soak the feet in hydrogen peroxide: Helps to cleanse the pores, leaving the skin looking and feeling revitalized.

The home care is key.
The technician will do their part, but this is only half of the journey. The other half is up to the client.
