I HAVE A INGROW NAIL THAT IS REALLY PAINFUL
A toenail is ingrown when one or both sides of the nail begin to grow into the skin next to it. This can lead to pain and swelling.
8. Advanced "Ingrown" Pedicure
Manual cleaning of the side-skin accumulated. If the nails are cut too short, the skin on the sides can cover the nail corners, causing the nail to grow into the skin. Ripping nails or cutting them in a rounded shape can also cause ingrown toenails because they don't have clear corners. As they grow, the new corners get stuck under the skin. Getting a regular pedicure to trim your nails straight across avoids overly short cuts and curved edges. Also, to clean the excess side skin accumulated.
7. Onyfix (Add-on)
Corrects ingrown and involuted nails with a customized band or plate of methacrylate resin that gradually lifts curved nails and corrects the shape over time through natural nail growth without pain or surgery.
It is a Health Canada "Medical device, class 1" designed to correct painful ingrown toenails. We are the only nail studio on the West Coast, Canada, that provides this revolutionary nail correction system. Onyfix nail correction bands will incur an additional charge on top of the service booked. You need to get a pedicure first, to clean up and prepare your toenails and cuticles to apply the bands.
